Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has continued its positive performance on Tuesday, adding 0.39% or 19.86 points to close at the level of 5,058.61 points.
The market’s turnover hit AED 266.31 million after 66.98 million shares were traded through 2,021 transactions.
The market cap value gained AED 3.79 billion, standing at AED 521.18 billion from AED 517.39 billion in the previous session.
The energy segment was up by 1.68%, followed by the telecom sector with 0.85%.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) was the top gainer with 3.5%, whereas Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) went down by 10%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) achieved the highest liquidity of AED 93.52 million, while Ras Al Khaimah Cement Company (RAK Cement) was the most active stock with 17.25 million shares.
As for the blue chips, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Aldar Properties advanced by 2.24% and 0.77%, respectively.
