Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by about 0.87% or 40.36 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 4,689.79 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 407.19 million after 89 million shares had been exchanged through 3,047 transactions.
The market cap value increased by AED 6.73 billion to AED 693.99 billion, compared to AED 687.26 billion during the previous session.
Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) topped the rising stocks with 4.98%, while Gulf Cement Co (GCEM) led the losing stocks with 4.8%.
Aldar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 36.375 million shares traded at AED 95.71 million.
