Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged up by 0.11% or 5.43 points by the end of Wednesday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,092.70 points.
The bourse’s liquidity recorded AED 102.79 million after 28.83 million shares were traded through 1,219 transactions.
The market cap value rose by AED 180 million to reach AED 520.03 billion from AED 519.85 billion on Tuesday.
The real estate sector grew by 1.15%, while the telecom sector went down by 0.12%.
REEM Investments led the gainers with 15%, while Emirates Investment Bank topped the losers with 9.84%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest liquidity of AED 26.15 million, while The National Investor (TNI) led the trading activity with 5 million shares.
Aldar Properties’ stock rose by 1.37%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s (ADIB) stock inched down by 0.77%.
