ADX closes in green Wednesday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 14.42 points, or 0.29%, to close at 4,925.61 points on Wednesday.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 44.55 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 227.9 million.

The investment sector grew 1.52%, as Waha Capital rose 1.65%, while the banks sector went up 0.51% after Union National Bank (UNB) increased 2.78%.

Moreover, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) increased by 1.79%, 0.7%, and 0.42%, respectively.

In a similar vein, the energy sector gained 0.45%, as Taqa soared 2.56% and Dana Gas levelled up 1.83%.

By contrast, the real estate sector shed 0.16%, as Eshraq Properties lost 1.67%.
