Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) ended Monday’s session on a negative note, on the back of the blue chips.
The main index shed 0.19% or 8.74 points to stand at 4,510.5 points.
Turnover advanced to AED 163.13 million compared to AED 60.45 million on Sunday, while trading volume reached 117.93 million shares up from 50.59 million shares yesterday.
The investment sector fell 1.44%, after Waha Capital was down 1.53%.
The energy sector shed 0.67% weighted by Dana Gas which lost 1.8%.
The real estate sector slipped 0.6% as Aldar Properties decreased 1.06%.
On the other hand, the telecommunication sector rose 0.25%, backed by Etisalat which gained the same percentage.
Eshraq was the most active stock in terms of trading volume in today’s session as 56.4 million shares were traded at a value of AED 43.57 million.
