Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index inched up 4.22 points, or 0.09%, to close at 4605.04 points in a week, pushed up by the telecommunication and energy sectors.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, added 2.21% each.
The energy sector increased by 0.7% after TAQA soared 2.46%, while Dana Gas declined 2.7%.
The insurance and the services sectors went up 1.44% and 2.05%, respectively.
Over the week, the ADX’s trading volume reached 468.5 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 962.528 million.
