Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index inched up 0.65 points, or 0.01%, to 4,534.17 points on Monday.
The ADX’s trading volume declined to 35.33 million shares from 50.6 million on Sunday, while the market’s liquidity dropped to AED 110.58 million versus AED 129.45 million in the previous session.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, grew 1.13% each.
The consumer staples sector went up 1.61% after Agthia soared 2.7%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector lost 1.47%, as Aldar Properties tumbled 1.84%.
The energy sector sank 0.74% after TAQA plunged 5.26%, while the banks sector fell 0.22%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) shed 0.45%.
