Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index inched up 3.79 points, or 0.08%, to finish at 4,673.31 points on Tuesday on the back of the banks and energy sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 82.032 million shares, while the market’s turnover hit AED 114.58 million.
Dana Gas topped the market in terms of both trading volume and value, with 48.98 million traded shares and a turnover of AED 48.48 million.
The telecommunications sector and its only stock, Etisalat, grew 0.29% each.
The banks sector added 0.2% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) rose 0.43% and 0.4%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector went down 0.59%, as Dana Gas declined 2.02%, while the real estate sector sank 0.5% after Aldar Properties fell 0.95%.
The investment sector lost 1.02% after Waha Capital levelled down 1.11%.
