Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.5% or 22.07 points to the level of 4,413.68 points.
Trading volume decreased to 89.45 million shares from 185.42 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, as turnover also shrank to AED 123.87 million from AED 229.99 million.
The banks sector advanced 0.9% as First Abu Dhabi Bank grew 0.98%.
The real estate sector levelled up 0.21% due to an increase of 0.43% in Aldar.
Meanwhile, the telecom and energy sectors remained stable.
Dana Gas witnessed the highest trading activity with a volume of 50.8 million shares and a turnover of AED 34.93 million.
