ADX continues bear run in mid-session

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) maintained its losses in Sunday’s mid-session, weighed by the energy, real estate and banks sectors.

The general index fell 0.78% or 33.65 points to reach 4,273.61 points by 12:00pm UAE time.

Turnover reached AED29.58 million after 25.72 million shares were traded through 321 transactions.

The energy sector topped losers with a drop of 2.4% after TAQA declined 4.26%.

The banks sector also retreated 1.28% as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and First Gulf Bank slid 3.05% and 2.77%, respectively.

The telecom sector levelled down 0.62% due to a decrease in Etisalat by 0.62%.

On the other hand, the investment sector rose 4.06% as Waha Capital advanced 4.06%.

The services sector added 3.14% backed by Abu Dhabi National Hotels that increased 3.45%.
