ADX continues to decline Thursday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) maintained its downward trend for the third successive session on Thursday.

The main index fell 0.37% or 16.35 points to reach 4,347.20 points.

Turnover reached AED 116.46 million on Thursday, compared to AED 105.15 million on Wednesday. Trading volume stood at 27.1 million shares, compared to 53.07 million shares.

The energy sector led losers after falling 2.1% as TAQA and Dana Gas slid 3.12% and 1.79% respectively.

The banks sector retreated 0.71% as the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) went down 9.36% and 1.12% respectively.

On the flipside, the real estate sector went up 0.32% as Aldar Properties gained 0.39%.
