Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance for the third successive session on Wednesday, backed by the rise of energy and banks stocks
The general index went up 0.64% or 29.09 points to reach 4,574.20 points
Turnover amounted to AED 218.35 million on Wednesday, compared to AED 315.18 million on Tuesday. Trading volume reached 115.90 million shares, compared to 137.15 million shares.
The energy sector topped gainers with a 1.91% rise as TAQA and Dana Gas grew 2% and 1.89% respectively.
The banks sector increased 1.11% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went up 1.53% and 1.09% respectively.
On the flipside, the real estate sector fell 0.13% after Eshraq Properties sank 0.88%.
