Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed in the red for the second successive session on Tuesday, pressured down by the decline of the energy and banks sectors.
The general index retreated 0.58% or 9.34 points to reach 4,250.2 points.
Trading volume reached 53.72 million shares on Tuesday, compared to 229.691 million shares on Monday.
Turnover stood at AED 203.33 million, compared to AED 451.58 million.
The energy sector levelled down 1.43% after Dana Gas decreased 1.85%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector topped gainers after adding 0.96%, backed by Manazel Real Estate and Aldar Properties which grew 1.85% and 1.15%, respectively.
The telecom sector advanced 0.57% as Etisalat went up 0.57%.
Asmak was the best performer with a 13.99% rise, while National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain led losers after falling 9.9%.
