Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down 26.45 points, or 0.52%, to 5,101 points in a week.
Market capitalisation lost AED 2.755 billion to AED 511.292 billion in the week ended 28 March.
The real estate sector lost 3.03%, as Aldar Properties shed 3.72%, while the telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, levelled down 1.18% each.
The investment sector retreated 4.88%, as Waha Capital lost 5.34% and the banking sector shed 0.15% after the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went down 0.94%.
On the other hand, the energy sector gained 2.39%, as Dana Gas rose 3.68%.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 328.154 million shares over the week, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 1.514 billion.
