Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell this week by 0.7% or 32.46 points to the level of 4,259.62 points.
Trading volume increased to 1.27 billion shares from 1.05 billion shares exchanged last week, turnover also rose to AED 1.79 billion from AED 1.43 billion.
The telecom sector dropped 1.7% as Etisalat shrank by the same percentage.
The banks sector slid 0.8% due to a 0.9% decrease in First Gulf Bank.
The real estate sector retreated 0.2%, dragged by a 1.2% fall in Aldar Properties.
On the other hand, the energy sector advanced 8.4% as Dana Gas rose 3.7%.
