Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a slight decline at close on Monday, weighed by the banks and telecom sectors.
The general index declined 0.01% or 0.22 points to reach 4,103.05 points.
Trading volume declined to 188.64 million shares on Monday, compared to 157.16 million shares on Sunday. Meanwhile, turnover increased to AED 227.42 million from AED 140.31 million.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector declined 0.31% after Etisalat went down 0.31%.
The banks sector retreated 0.19%, weighed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) which slid 1.41% and 1.10% in a row.
On the flipside, the energy sector increased 3.49% after Dana Gas grew 4.35%.
The real estate sector levelled up 0.48% as Aldar Properties added 0.42%.
