Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Monday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of blue chips in the energy and real estate sectors.
The main index sank 0.42% or 19.4 points to reach 4,601.41 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The energy sector levelled down 3.65% as Dana Gas sank 4.08%. The banks sector also decreased 0.55% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) slid 0.37%.
The market saw trading of 67.30 million shares through 649 transactions, with a turnover of AED 80.79 million.
Eshraq Properties, which fell 2.61%, was the value leader after generating AED 51.85 million from the exchange of 45.28 million shares.
