Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) unexpectedly saw a downtrend in Monday’s early trades, pressured by Aldar Properties and First Gulf Bank (FGB).
The general index went down 0.3% or 13.9 points to 4,435.34 points by 11:30am UAE time.
The energy sector declined 1.5% as Dana Gas retreated 1.9%.
The real estate sector levelled down 0.6%, led down by Aldar Properties which decreased 0.7%.
The banks sector lost 0.5% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) slid 0.8%.
The telecom sector rose 0.3%, trimming the market’s losses
The market saw a trading of 64.8 million shares through 747 transactions, with a turnover of AED 80.6 million.
