Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) maintained its negative performance by the end of Tuesday’s trading session.
The main index dropped by 6.33% or 224.68 points to close at 3,323.35 points.
A total of 128.94 million shares were exchanged through 3,423 transactions at a total value of AED 286.16 million.
The market cap value dropped by around AED 20.39 billion to AED 365.21 billion from AED 385.60 billion during the session on Monday 16 March.
The banks sector topped the declining sectors with 7.75%, followed by telecommunications with 7.07%.
Meanwhile, Emirates Driving Co (Drive) headed the red zone with 10%, while Sudatel Telecom Group led rising stocks and gained 8.89%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), down 9.95%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 99.31 million, while Dana Gas was the most active stock with 36.26 million traded shares.
