Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance on Thursday, falling to its lowest level in 18 sessions.
The general index lost 1.42% or 62.23 points to reach 4,331.91 points.
Trading volume reached 80.94 million shares on Thursday, compared to 98.25 million shares on Wednesday.
The industrial sector (was the worst performer) suffered the heaviest losses after falling 4.26%.
The real estate sector declined 2.37% as Aldar Properties and Eshraq Properties retreated 2.55% and 1.30%, respectively.
The banks sector slid 1.37% after National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) decreased 3.78% and 1.7% in a row.
The telecom sector levelled down 1.09% as Etisalat fell 1.09%.
The energy sector decreased 0.86% due to a 4.65% decline in TAQA.
