Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) maintained its downward trend for the sixth successive session on Sunday, hitting its lowest level in three months.
The general index fell 1.13% or 47.79 points to reach 4,187.59 points.
Trading volume reached 39.98 million shares on Sunday, compared to 68.22 million shares last Thursday.
Turnover stood at AED 72 million, compared to AED 133 million.
The telecom sector led losers after falling 2.56%, pressured by Etisalat which slid 2.56%.
However, Etisalat was the most active stock after generating AED 25.7 million.
The real estate decreased 1.16% as Aldar Properties retreated 1.56%, overshadowing the rise of Eshraq Properties by 1.3%.
The energy sector went down 1.09% after Dana Gas lost 1.9%.
The banks sector slid 0.62% due to a decline in National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) by 3.1% and 1.62%, respectively.
