Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Monday’s trading session on a negative note, recording its lowest levels in four years.
The benchmark index declined by 8.06% to 4,039.59 points.
A total of 151.47 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 306.41 million.
The market cap value declined by AED 37.3 billion to AED 431.12 billion from AED 468.42 billion in the previous session.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution), Dana Gas, and Waha Capital topped the decliners with 10% each.
Meanwhile, Aldar Properties led the losing blue chips with around 9.9%.
