Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) reversed the bullish performance it had maintained for five successive sessions on Thursday.
The general index sank 0.55% or 25.51 points to reach 4,615.23 points.
Trading volume reached 125.27 million shares on Thursday, compared to 118.138 million shares on Wednesday. Turnover amounted to AED 191.20 million, compared to AED 522.124 million.
The investment sector sank 2.41% as Waha Capital retreated 2.56%.
The telecom sector slid 0.82% after Etisalat levelled down 0.82%. The banks sector fell 0.42% as National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) sank 0.88%.
On the other hand, the energy sector rose 1.84% after TAQA added 7.55%. The real estate sector also added 0.13% as Eshraq Properties grew 3.54%.
Eshraq was the value leader and most active stock after generating AED 65.16 million from the exchange of 56.38 million shares.
