Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange lost 59.56 points, or 1.16%, to close at 5,075.14 points on Tuesday.
Market capitalisation went down to AED 518.31 billion on Tuesday, compared to AED 523.75 billion in the previous session.
The banking sector declined by 1.41%, while the telecom sector sank 1.33% and the energy sector inched down 0.01%. The real estate sector added 1.54%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank decreased by 1.95%, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank went down by 0.26% and Dana Gas shrank by 0.11%.
On the other hand, Aldar Properties added 1.73% and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank grew by 0.38%.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 58.19 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 170.28 million.
