Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) reversed on Tuesday the negative performance it had maintained for eight successive sessions.
The main index rose 0.20% or 8.84 points to reach 4,501.76 points, spurred by the growth of real estate and energy stocks.
Turnover amounted to AED 139.38 million on Tuesday, compared to AED 91.05 million on Monday. Turnover reached 99.06 million shares, compared to 45.7 million shares.
The real estate sector went up 0.8% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties gained 2.91% and 0.45%, respectively.
The energy sector increased 0.49% after TAQA advanced 1.8%.
The telecom sector also gained 0.29% as Etisalat added 0.29%.
The banks sector grew 0.03% due to a rise in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) by 0.84% and 0.41%, respectively.
