ADX ends Monday's session down; market cap loses AED 3.54bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.33% to end Monday's trading session at 4,507.95 points, maintaining its downward performance on Sunday, 6 September.

Turnover amounted to AED 333.67 million after 99.13 million shares had been traded through 2,161 transactions.

The market cap value decreased by AED 3.54 billion to AED 671.91 billion, compared to AED 675.45 billion during the previous session.

Gulf Cement Co headed the red zone with 4.29%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co led the green zone with 14.79%.

Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 42.19 million shares traded at AED 86.32 million.

Dana Gas came on top of the losing blue chips with 1.23%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) headed the rising blue chips with 0.50%.
