Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged higher by 0.16% or 8.30 points at the end of Sunday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,083.98 points.
The market’s liquidity registered AED 41.16 million after 15.47 million shares were exchanged through 423 transactions.
Meanwhile, the market cap value surged by AED 1.18 billion to stand at AED 523.37 billion from AED 522.19 billion on Thursday, 9 January.
The energy instrument inched up by 0.36%, whereas the real estate sector levelled down by 0.43%.
Moreover, the Abu Dhabi National Insurance Co headed the winners with 11.11%, whereas Gulf Cement Co topped the losers with 3.33%.
Aldar Properties was the most active stock through the exchange of 5.48 million shares with a liquidity of AED 11.86 million.
The leading stock of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) gained 0.37%, whereas Aldar Properties declined by 0.47%.
