Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s trading session slightly down as the general index inched down 2.02 points, or 0.04%, closing the session at 5,122.70 points.
Trading volume amounted to 24.79 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 55 million through 839 transactions.
Market capitlisation gained AED 18 million and ended the session at AED 524.919 billion.
The telecommunication sector slid 0.48%, while the real estate and the banks sectors added 0.13% and 0.06%, respectively. Meanwhile, the energy sector remained stable.
Dana Gas, up 0.11% to AED 95, was the most active stock by volume after seeing a trading volume of 7.64 million shares, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), up 0.12% to AED 8.12, was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 7.68 million.
It is worth noting that Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s stock (ADIB) levelled up by 0.80% to AED 5.04.
