ADX ends Thursday higher; liquidity totals AED 170m

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) levelled up by 0.10% or 5.07 points to 5,179.12 points at Thursday’s close.

The trading value registered AED 169.98 million after 50.32 million shares were traded through 1,227 transactions.

In the meantime, the energy sector inched up by 0.64%, whereas the real estate segment declined by 0.86% and the telecom instrument remained unchanged.

The National Investor Company was the top riser with 4.67%, whereas the United Arab Bank (UAB) led the fallers with 9.8%.

Moreover, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest liquidity of AED 48.57 million, while Aldar Properties led the trading activity through the exchange of 7.01 million shares.

The blue chip of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) increased by 1.08%, whereas Aldar Properties edged down by 0.89%.
