Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday at a rise, after its general index went up 0.22% or 10.10 points to 4,612.33 points.
The real estate sector led risers, adding 0.71% after Aldar Properties increased 0.87%, while the banks sector rose 0.51% on the back of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), which gained 0.89% and 0.75%, respectively.
Turnover dropped to AED 90.79 million from AED 154.64 million on Wednesday, while volumes grew slightly to 47.019 million shares from 46.15 million.
The energy sector grew 0.33% after TAQA and ADNOC Distribution went up 1.85% and 0.37%, respectively.
FAB registered the highest turnover on the ADX with AED 28.05 million on Thursday after 2.48 million shares were traded.
On the flip side, the insurance sector fell 0.9% after its stock Waha Capital lost 0.97%, while the services sector declined 0.72% after National Marine Dredging retreated 7.14%.
