Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session in positive territory, supported by the scetors’ collective growth.
The general index rose 0.8%, closing the last session of the week at 5,044.85 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 41.44 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 222.38 million.
The banks sector topped risers with 1.4% as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) jumped 2.88% and 1.15%, respectively.
Similarly, the energy sector advanced 0.51% on the back of Dana Gas’ 1.71% increase, while the real estate sector levelled up 0.1% after Aldar Properties grew 4.08%.
On the other hand, the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, went down 0.1% each
