ADX ends Thursday in green

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 1.34% or 67.79 points by the end of Thursday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,137.62 points.

Trading volume recorded 33.79 million shares exchanged through 1,263 transactions, registering AED 131.88 million worth of liquidity, while the market cap value rose by AED 4.89 billion to AED 523.79 billion.

The banks' sector was the top riser with 1.99%, followed by telecom with 0.36%, while the real estate sector led the fallers with 0.86%.

Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) was the top rising stock, adding 8.97%, while the Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials dropped 9.97%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) logged the highest liquidity of AED 43.03 million, closing up 2.91%, while Dana Gas led the trading activity through the exchange of 5.92 million shares, ending the session down 0.11%.
