ADX ends Thursday in red

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) benchmark index closed Thursday 0.23% or 9.83 points lower, reaching 4,349.15 points.

The energy index decreased 1.83% as ADNOC Distribution's stock declined 1.89%.

ADNOC Distribution's stock led the ADX in terms of trading volume after 9.75 million shares were exchanged, with a liquidity of AED 24.85 million.

The telecom sector and its stock Etisalat increased 0.58% each.

The real estate sector shed 0.49% as the stocks of RAK Properties and Aldar Properties levelled down 1.41% and 0.46%, respectively.

The banks sector tumbled 0.13% as Bank of Sharjah’s stock fell 4.92% and Invest Bank’s stock lost 1.97%.
