Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session on a negative note, with the general index falling slightly by 0.37% to 5,069.42 points.
Trading volume amounted to 29.46 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 102.84 million through 1,467 transactions.
Market capitalisation shed AED 1.7 billion and closed the session at AED 519.56 billion.
The telecommunication, the banks, the real estate sectors went down by 0.73%, 0.45%, and 0.04%, respectively, while the energy sector was the sole riser after adding 9.62%.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 24.63 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock by volume with 6.31 million traded shares.
All of the blue-chip stocks listed on the ADX have seen a downward trend except for Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s (ADIB) stock which levelled up by 0.40% to AED 15.11.
