Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange's (ADX) general index added 5.79 points or 0.12% to close at 5007.12 points on Thursday, buoyed by the banks and telecommunication sectors.
The trading volume reached 114.640 million shares, generating AED 240.021 million in turnover.
The market capitalisation reached AED 494.622 billion ($ 135.46 billion), while the market’s liquidity hit AED 497.138 billion ($ 135.325 billion)
The banks sector gained 0.25% after the First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) gained 0.27%.
The Investment sector rose 1.49%, making it the market’s top gainer for today’s session.
On the other hand, the real estate sector levelled down by 1.70% after Aldar plunged 1.71% and Eshraq Properties followed suit by 1.55%
The energy sector declined 0.81% as ADNOC and Dana Gas fell 1.26% and 0.85% respectively.
The industrial sector also regressed by 0.63%.
