Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 1.03% after losing 52.60 points to close at 5,050.49 points on Thursday.
The market’s turnover totalled AED 92.38 million where 48.56 million shares were traded through 775 transactions.
Meanwhile, the market cap value sank by AED 5.87 billion to stand at AED 518.88 billion, compared to AED 524.75 billion in the previous session.
The energy sector was the top loser with 1.81%, followed by the telecom and banks with 1.20% and 1.03%, respectively.
Emirates Driving Co came on top of the fallers with 8.94%, whereas Union Insurance was the top riser with 8.7%.
Aldar Properties showed the highest turnover of AED 20.21 million, while Eshraq Investments led the trading activity through the exchange of 11.64 million shares.
The blue chip stock First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) shed by 1.17%, followed by Aldar Properties with 0.92%.
