ADX ends Thursday's session on negative note

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) was down by 0.25% or 12.85 points at the end of Thursday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,030.76 points.

Liquidity registered AED 175.67 million after 28 million shares were traded through 1,167 transactions.

The market cap value retreated by AED 1.68 billion to AED 513.93 billion from AED 515.61 billion on Wednesday.

The real estate sector inched down by 0.86%, while the telecom sector remained unchanged.

The United Arab Bank (UAB) decreased by 10%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) topped the gainers with 7.43%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) logged the highest turnover of AED 113.20 million through the exchange of 7.44 million shares.

As for the blue chips, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) decreased by 2.20%, whereas FAB was up by 0.13%.
