ADX ends Tuesday in green

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has seen a positive performance on Tuesday, backed by the banks and the investment sectors.

By the end of Tuesday’s trading session, the ADX’s general index edged up 11.63 points, or 0.23%, to 5,022.17 points.

Trading volume amounted to 23.236 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 131.530 million.

The investment and the banks sectors jumped by 1.24% and 0.38%, respectively.

Similarly, the consumer goods sector levelled up 0.14% and the telecommunication sector added 0.12%.

On the other hand, the energy sector dipped 0.12%, pressured by Taqa and ADNOC Distribution which fell by 4.17% and 0.36%, respectively.

Moreover, the real estate sector tumbled 0.93% as Aldar Properties slid by 1.01%.

The bourse’s market capitalisation closed at AED 516.070 billion today, gaining AED 941 million.
