Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session in red territory, breaking six straight hikes.
The ADX’s general index levelled down 0.18%, or 9.84 points, ending the session at 5,394.70 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 200.73 million after 57.34 million shares exchanged hands through 1,554 transactions.
The investment sector headed the decliners losing 1.13% as Eshraq Properties decreased by 1.81%, while the real estate sector plunged 0.7% as RAK Properties and Aldar Properties retreated 2.5% and 0.53%, respectively.
Similarly, the banks sector went down 0.42% as the heavyweight First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) levelled down 0.71%.
Meanwhile, the energy sector topped the gainers after adding 0.62% as Dana Gas and ADNOC Distribution grew 0.95% and 0.77%, respectively.
