ADX ends Wednesday up 0.15%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s session rising 0.15% or 6.54 points to the level of 4,470.40 points.

Turnover reached AED 139.042 million executed over 45 million shares, compared to 70.82 million shares at a value of AED 107.64 million on Tuesday.

The real estate sector increased 0.74%, backed by Aldar Properties which advanced 0.76%.

The banks sector added 0.43%, supported by First Gulf Bank (FGB) which grew 1.27% to top the turnover by AED 40.6 million.

The energy sector gained 0.37%, after Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) rose 2.04%.

The telecommunication sector shed 0.25%, on the back of Etisalat which decreased by the same percentage.

The services sector topped the red sectors losing 3.94%, after Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) declined 9.8%.

The consumer staples led the green sectors advancing 3.16%, backed by Agthia Group which increased 4.02%.
