ADX ends Wednesday up for 3rd time in row

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance at Wednesday’s close for the third consecutive time, levelling up by 0.72% or 36.25 points to close at 5,094.86 points.

The turnover recorded AED 5.05 billion after 370.47 million shares were traded through 1,639 transactions.

The market cap value soared by AED 2.27 billion, reaching AED 523.45 billion from AED 521.18 billion on Tuesday.

The banks sector went up by 1.05%, whereas the energy sector was the only faller with 0.06%.

Commercial Bank International (CBI) came on top of the winners with 13.24%, while National Takaful Co led the losers with 10%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), up 1.19%, registered the highest liquidity of AED 58.19 million, while Dana Gas led the trading activity with 6.94 million shares.
