Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated at Monday’s close weighed by leading shares.
The main index dropped 0.67% or 29.62 points to 4,410.63 points.
The telecommunication sector lost 1.13% after its stock Etisalat saw a similar decline.
The energy sector fell 2.98%, while Dana Gas saw a 4.05% decrease, leading losers in the market.
Trading volume was 90.9 million shares, generating AED 151.8 million through 1,210 transactions.
Dana Gas was the most actively-traded stock in terms of trading volume with 32.2 million shares, while Aldar Properties was the most actively-traded in terms of trading value with AED 44.5 million.
