Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed lower on Tuesday, weighed by a decline in all sectors led by energy and banks.
The general index retreated 0.28% or 11.31 points to reach 4,014.92 points.
Trading volume dropped 41% to 61.05 million shares today from 103 million shares on Monday. Turnover fell to AED 150.35 million from AED 163.76 million.
The industrial sector lost 1.29% after RAK Ceramics slid 2.65%.
The energy sector decreased 0.47% as TAQA went down 2.27%.
Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials topped gainers after adding 2.44%.
The banks sector levelled down 0.41%, pressured by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank which lost 3.51%. However, it was the value leader with turnover reaching AED 50 million.
The real estate sector dipped 0.09% as RAK Properties slumped 4.17%.
