Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index declined by 13.24 points, or 0.25%, to close at 5,317.9 points on Wednesday.
The ADX’s trading volume stood at 110.38 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 263.69 million.
Market capitalisation declined to AED 541.97 billion on Wednesday, from AED 543.56 billion on Tuesday.
The telecom sector and its only stock, Etisalat, shed 1.6%, each, while the investment sector went down by 2.16%, as Waha Capital dropped 3.8%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) decreased by 0.13% and 1.72%, respectively, but the banking sector inched up 0.07.
On the other hand, the energy sector gained 0.93% and the real estate sector grew by 0.39%.
