Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the positive territory, supported by the growth of the banks, telecommunication, and energy sectors.
The general index increased by 9.13 points, or 0.18%, closing at 4,962.37 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 31.679 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 169.372 million through 1,423 transactions.
The banks sector topped the risers adding 0.27% as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank levelled up 0.60% and 0.28%, respectively.
The telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, went up 0.12% each, while the energy sector advanced 0.12% as Dana Gas rose 0.42%.
