ADX falls 0.22% at Thursday’s open

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of energy and real estate stocks.

The main index went down 0.22% or 10.03 points to reach 4,583.69 points by 11:00 am UAE time.

The energy sector led losers with a 0.92% decline as TAQA sank 3.33%.

The real estate sector sank 0.90% after Aldar Properties went down 0.88%.

On the other hand, the services sector added 1.28% as Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) levelled up 8.7%.

Turnover amounted to AED 16.19 million after trading 6.91 million shares through 162 transactions.
