ADX falls 0.52% at Sunday’s close

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Sunday with negative performance, ending the last session in March in red, dragged down by real estate and banks sectors.  

The general index fell 0.52%, ending the session at 5,074.65 points.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 26.647 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 65.401 million.

The real estate sector topped the losers after falling 1.52% due to Aldar Properties’s 1.66% plunge.

The banks sector sagged 0.75% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went down 0.39% and 1.58%, respectively.

On the other hand, the investment sector headed the risers with 2.72% as Al Waha Capital grew 3.32%, while the energy sector levelled up 0.21% due to Dana Gas’s 1.08% increase.
