Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s general index went down 12.85 points, or 0.25%, to close at 5,131.37 points on Thursday, pushed down by the banking sector.
The energy, telecom, and banking sectors shed 0.53%, 0.48%, and 0.19%, respectively, while the real estate inched up 0.01%.
Market capitalisation shrank to AED 523.59 billion on Thursday, compared to AED 524.92 billion in the previous session.
Dana Gas declined by 0.44%, while First Abu Dhabi Bank lost 0.39% and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank decreased by 0.37%.
The ADX’s trading volume hit 28.41 million shares, while the market’s liquidity reached AED 100.48 million.
