Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined by 157.55 points, or 2.9%, to 5,230.22 points in a week.
Trading volume recorded 41.91 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 139.83 million.
The telecom sector dropped 6.07% over the week, while the investment, banking, energy, and real estate sectors shed 2.8%, 2.3%, 3.3%, and 1.9%, respectively.
Market capitalisation decreased to AED 533.14 billion over the week, compared to AED 549.63 billion in the previous week.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) shed 2.9% and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) declined by 1.9%.
Aldar Properties went down by 2.11%, while Adnoc Distribution, Dana Gas, and Waha Capital lost 1.1%, 4.6%, and 2.9%, respectively.
