ADX falls in early trades

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Wednesday’s trading session in the red, weighed down by the fall of five stocks led by the energy and real estate.

The general index slid 0.30% or 12.84 points to reach 4,251.60 points by 10:40am UAE time.

The energy sector led losers after falling 1.4% as Dana Gas declined 1.8%. Similarily, the real estate sector retreated 1.12% after Aldar Properties slid 1.12%.

The telecom sector also decreased 0.26% after Etisalat levelled down 0.26%.

The market saw trading of 5.13 million shares through 85 transactions, with a turnover of AED 7.55 million.
